Davis Law Firm announces the launch of their support for the Communities in Schools Stuff The Bus campaign. Communities In School’s mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.
CIS places site coordinators directly inside schools throughout Bexar County. Coordinators connect children and their families to basic and critical educational and community-based resources. To accomplish this goal, CIS doesn’t use a cookie-cutter approach. Instead, CIS utilizes a tailored to each student’s specific needs. By using this tailored approach CIS also helps by supporting the student’s emotional, social, and nutritional needs as well.
Attorney Jeff Davis says “Communities in Schools of San Antonio does amazing work to really help the children of Bexar County. We encourage the entire Davis Law Firm team, our clients, and the community as a whole to join us supporting this great organization.” To that end, Davis Law firm is collecting school supplies at their San Antonio office at 10500 Heritage Blvd., Suite 102 until Augst 2nd.
There is a wide variety of supplies that student needs from backpacks to pencils. Communities in Schools Stuff The Bus campaign can make use of nearly every type of school supply. A handy list is featured below.
You don’t have to contribute supplies in order to help out. If you can’t make it to a drop off to contribute supplies, you can make a monetary donation at CISSA.ORG.
