Jeff Davis, a San Antonio native, has deep family roots in Southern Texas dating back to the 1800s.
Like his father and aunt, he graduated from Alamo Heights High School and then completed his undergraduate work at UT Austin. His desire to live in San Antonio resulted in his study of law at Saint Mary’s Law School. He served as personal aide to retired Congressman Lamar Smith during his initial run for Congress in 1986. He also worked for the honorable State Senator Cindy Krier, and he proudly served in the Presidential Campaign of President Herbert Walker Bush while President Bush was Vice President of the United States. It was during this time that he had the pleasure of meeting Senator Dole, President Ford and other notable individuals who have served our country.
After law school, Jeff was accepted into the prestigious US Department of Justice Honors Program. Still, Jeff always knew that he wanted to return to family, friends and community in the state that raised him. Upon his return years later, Jeff worked at Thornton, Summers, Biechlin, and Dunham and Brown, a respected San Antonio defense firm. He then partnered with Jim Osherow, an established bankruptcy attorney, to form Osherow and Davis, PC.
In 1996, Jeff started Davis Law Firm, which has grown throughout Texas. The firm has seen substantial growth over the past years, and in addition to the San Antonio office, the firm has offices in Austin, Corpus Christi, McAllen, Harlingen, Brownsville, Laredo, and Permian Basin to better serve clients across the Lone Star state. Jeff has always loved San Antonio and has always been a Spurs fan who attended Spurs games from a young age. His loyalty to Texas is not only evident in the many Spurs memorabilia items that hang throughout the walls of Davis Law Firm, but in his past and ongoing commitment to the Texas communities the law firm serves.
Over time, Jeff’s commitment to the state where he was raised led him to serve and support such local philanthropies and organizations as: The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Mothers Against Drunk Drivers, The San Antonio Food Bank, The Corpus Christi Food Bank, Jewish Family and Children’s Service, Boysville, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Guardian House, Christie’s Hope, The San Pedro Playhouse, The Classic Theatre, The San Antonio Zoo, Heroes Brawl, the Texas Cavaliers, South Texas Blood and Tissue, and more. Jeff has been honored to serve on the boards of Mothers Against Drunk Drivers, Jewish Family and Children’s Service, and Saint Mary’s Law School Alumni and Saint Mary’s Law School. In 1997, Jeff married his wife, Gabrielle, and they have 3 daughters.
