Sylvia Mora is a seasoned attorney with over 20 years of experience, specializing in personal injury defense for more than half of her career. Having worked in various roles within vehicle insurance companies, Sylvia brings a unique perspective and wealth of knowledge to her current position at the Davis Law Firm, where she is dedicated to advocating for injured clients. Sylvia joined the Davis Team in October 2024, excited to shift her focus and leverage her extensive experience in a new, impactful direction.
Originally from the small town of Cotulla, Texas, Sylvia’s upbringing instilled in her a deep passion for helping those in need. She moved to San Antonio to pursue higher education and has made the city her home ever since. Her legal career began in the criminal court system, where she provided representation for individuals without legal counsel, honing her skills and developing her fluency in Spanish. Early in her career, she also gained valuable experience in family law.
Outside of her legal practice, Sylvia is a devoted mother to a teenage son, whose love for soccer has been evident since toddlerhood. Much of her weekends are spent traveling across Texas and the United States, cheering him on as his biggest fan. In addition to her family life, Sylvia has a creative side; she is passionate about crafting and once owned a retail scrapbook store near the Davis Law Firm. Though she has since stepped away from retail, she continues to explore various crafting avenues as a relaxing pastime after busy days at work.
Sylvia is also an animal lover and currently cares for four rescue cats, reflecting her compassionate nature. With her dedication to her clients, family, and personal interests, Sylvia Mora embodies a commitment to both professional excellence and community support.
